We had a fantastic stay at this charming lodge. It provided the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience, with breathtaking starry nights and easy access to town and the main road. The outdoor seating options were a great addition, and we couldn't resist falling for the adorable golden retriever puppy. The staff handled a difficult situation with professionalism, which was a rare find. The common area was a wonderful spot to unwind, and the proximity to restaurants was a bonus. Quick and responsive communication from the host sealed the deal. excellent value for the money!
Totally recommend this hotel.

Located in a beautiful natural setting, with gardens and orchards that added to the charm. The facilities were well-maintained and had everything needed, including clean bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. The option of free bike hire was a great bonus, allowing guests to explore the surroundings easily.
There was no fan in the room, making it uncomfortable during the hot summer period. The lack of a fan meant keeping the windows open, which resulted in a lot of bugs entering the room.

The outside hot shower and the feijoas falling from the tree were the best aspects of our stay. The comfortable garden setting with table and chairs and lounge chairs outside was an added bonus. The owner was very welcoming and provided helpful information about local walks. The well-equipped kitchen facilities were also a plus.
There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. We had to ask for a table on our porch and some plates and utensils were missing, although they were partially provided upon request.

We had a wonderful romantic getaway at this charming lodge. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a romantic escape. The garden was absolutely beautiful, with a picnic area and barbecue, where we enjoyed a lovely evening together. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for nearby attractions. We also loved that the location was close to the town, making it convenient for exploring the area.
That the wifi was only available in the common areas, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It allowed us to disconnect from our devices and have a more intimate experience together.
